Ziegler Centre Stand

I recently purchased a centre stand for a BMW f700gs low suspension. Having received the same and fitted it to my bike, I find that a single individual can’t set the bike on the centre stand in fact it’s an effort with 2 people either side. I checked the serial numbers apparently the correct stand was delivered.
Whist the stand still has some practical use for changing tyres and generally maintenance, it value for every day use to a single rider is two thirds of two fifth’s of SFA.
