I bought myself a gixer this summer after a 10 year break from sports bikes.I had forgotten how much pain in the wrists you get from the standard riding position,i am 6ft and nearly 17 stone, so decided to buy this kit.
It requires the throttle cables and brake lines to be extended.Plus plenty of setting up to get them sitting right without fowling the fairing.The electrics for the switch gear need re routing but dont need extending.The bars need a small pilot hole drilling, to locate the switchgear correctly.The brake fluid holder needed moving and i had to manufacture a bracket.

This was quite a project and took a while to get right. But i can safely say it has tranformed the riding experience for me.More comfortable than my previous adventure and cruiser bikes.

These are really high quality riser bars that significantly improve comfort when riding round town or long distance. The standard superbike race handlebar setup is great for the track but commuting involves navigating through traffic where maneuverability and visibility is key, also touring can put a big strain on neck and arms. These bars are a great replacement option definitely improving rider comfort. They are high quality and easy to fit for the average bike enthusiast with some cable re-routing as required. One final note, remember to tell you insurance company that your bike has been modified. Fitting these bars had no effect on my insurance premium. Happy riding.

Fitted to my KTM RC8 as I required more comfort after wrist and back injuries. Superb risers, I managed to get the full rise out of the Tour kit but had to remove the original mirrors and fit alternatives. I also needed longer brake lines, the clutch line has enough length with a bit of tweaking.
My bars are now wider, higher and closer to me, there is so much adjustment possible to dial in your preferred riding position.
