Regularly, sports motorcycles with extremely low weight and extreme steering head angles act violent with a tankslapper as they are called (handlebar flutter) and kick-back (handlebar slap) - phenomena that affects driving pleasure and safety.
In order to get these influences under control, LSL supply steering dampers which are used in racing and also offer these instrument for use on the road.
Proper installation of the steering damper is critical to its optimum performance and flawless operation. LSL therefore develops individual brackets for each model. The steering damper kits are equipped with model-specific parts certificates, and the installation is described in detail in comprehensive installation instructions.
