This Mammoth Mini Motorbike U-Disc Lock is intended as an additional or short-term security device. Until Tahtcham was closed it was a Thatcham Approved disc lock.
Disc locks are great for use when a lock and chain cannot be used, such as on journeys. Small and light enough to store in luggage or underseat, disc locks will make it more difficult for would be thieves to wheel a bike away. Use as additional security also whenever the bike is chained. Can also be used with chain.
This Mammoth security product has been evaluated against "The British Industry's Criteria for Vehicle Security", using specific tests to indicate the effectiveness of the product. It is recognised as a Thatcham 'Approved Device' Category 3 Mechanical Immobiliser. Thatcham Evaluation number TMC3-303-1207
