I wanted a rack that I could easily strap a rollbag or a tent onto. I'm not interested in topboxes so this rack fits the bill perfectly and is half the price of some of the well known brands which all seem designed for topboxes.It is advertised as being for the 1200R but I assumed that it would also fit my RS, however I did have to buy 4 longer screws to fix it with.( M6x50countersunk head screws needed, less than £2 delivered from Amazon).You have to remove and put aside the plastic cover on the rear of tread morehe Bike.I'm certain that both Ibex and Bikermart would sell a lot more of these if they advertised them as also fitting the RS because I struggled for a long time to find the type of rack that I wanted.
I've knocked a star off because my rack is slightly different from the one in the photo which shows the rear bungee points as being upturned whereas mine are flat. Not a problem but I liked that design feature although it makes no difference when it comes to strapping items on.
The rack was not in stock when I ordered it but Bikermart kept me fully updated as to when it would arrive so kudos to them.
